Nothronychus has a meaning of Sloth Claw. This dinosaur comes from the Upper Cretaceous period, and they consumed a Herbivorous diet. 

The Nothronychus had heavy curved claws that are sloth-like. These claws may have been used for gathering plants for food. It is very likely that some parts of their body was covered with primitive feathers.
