Dublin Dr Pepper Bottling Company located in Dublin, Texas produced a popular style of Dr Pepper soft drink called "Dublin Dr Pepper." Dublin Dr Pepper followed the original recipe, using pure cane sugar as the sweetner rather than high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). This method made the drink very popular among soda fans. This method caused tention between other bottlers and the parent company of Dr Pepper. Dublin Dr Pepper began being sold outside of the counties it was supposed to stay in due to the demand of this popular drink.
Since January 12, 2012 there has been a huge demand among bottle collectors, Dr Pepper fans and soda drinkers to grab what is left.
