Green Calcite
Calcite is a sedimentary mineral and the main element of limestone. It ranges from clear to opaque and is found in a variety of colors, like honey, orange, red and green. Calcite is detected within other rocks by applying hydrochloric acid, which causes it to bubble. Rock is approx. 1" to 2" and weighs about an ounce.
Each rock comes in a polly zip locked bag with a informational card. The card will give a educational description of the type of rock included.
